Serving Our Community And World In Christ's Name
Some people may not be online and still can't get to the church.  Every week, an inspirational reading, an activity, and the bulletin are mailed out.
Over the past several months, four college scholarships have been awarded, as have four camp scholarships. Some of the camp scholarships were for teams of campers with parents or grandparents.
Card Ministries
We have special volunteers who send out cards to celebrate Birthdays and Anniversaries, as well as to offer comfort for those coping with illness or grief.

NY/VT Nurses' Mission to Honduras
The nurses do fundraisers and supply drives through the year, so keep an eye on the bulletins and newsletters.  This winter, they mainly collected dental supplies to address a serious need.  Other medical supplies were procured from other sources for the best use of funds.Thank you Sandy Sprague, who is the main FUMC nurse to support the mission.

We were delighted to be able to host the St. Mary's Elementary School at the First United Methodist Church for the 2014-2015 school year after their fire.  St. Mary's has been rebuilt,  and the students and faculty are delighted to be home again. Thank you to all who make the last year work so well.
